How long does it take to build my website?
It depends on the size of your site and how quickly we get your content (text, photos, logo) — and we can help with that too. We’ll give you a timeline during your free consultation.
Do I need to provide the text and photos?
Yes, you provide your text, photos and logo. We’ll guide you with a simple questionnaire so you know exactly what to send, and we can source stock photography if you need it.
Will I own my website?
Yes. Once the build is paid for, the site and design are yours, and your domain is registered in your name. If you ever cancel your monthly plan, we’ll hand over your site files.
What does the monthly fee cover?
Hosting, SSL, daily backups, security and software updates, monitoring, and a set amount of edit time each month (30 minutes, 1 hour or 3 hours depending on your plan). Unused edit time doesn’t roll over to the next month. In short: we keep your site running smoothly so you don’t have to.
Are there any other costs?
Only a couple, paid directly by you. Your domain name (usually $10–20 a year), and any third-party services your add-ons may need. We’ll go over all of it in your free consultation, so there are no surprises.
Can I cancel the monthly plan?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month with 30 days’ notice, with no long-term contract. If you cancel, we’ll give you your site files so you can host it elsewhere.
How does payment work?
The build fee is paid 50% up front to reserve your spot and 50% at launch (Premium projects can be split into three milestones). Your monthly plan starts billing once the site goes live.
Will my site show up on Google?
Every site we build is fast and cleanly built, which Google likes. During your free consultation, we’ll also walk you through getting your business set up on Google, like your Google Business Profile and Maps listing.
Can I update the website myself?
You don’t have to. On every plan, edits are just a message away, and edit time is included in your monthly fee. If you’d like to make changes yourself, we can talk through options in your consultation.
